Any remarks? C&C?

First, you will get way more feed back by posting here.

Overall they look pretty good, the ones in black, you could use some fill light because the shirt gets lost in the back ground. Her half smiles seem sort of awkward, but cute at the same time, not sure how it makes me feel.

I think this one is my favorite.

Yeah that was my first time using a black background...and let me tell you- it's a pain in the A$$ to work with. But I will do that in the future, thank you !

I like the half smile personally- I think it adds a coy/innocently mischievous mood to the shot. :)

Is this natural light from a window?
I might have turned her more to her right and aligned my camera dead on so that the light would have more evenly distributed on her face. Right now shes got the 2face going on, with half lit and too half dark.
This is picky, but the light is rather cold. Its most evident on her face. I'm on a semi calibrated laptop, but I think its accurate enough to make this assessment.

That is a really nice one but it's too bad the zipper pull is sticking up like that. I'd be tempted to PS it out.

100% agreed. I wouldn't even question shopping it out. You can cut the zipper tag and flip it, fairly easy.

I think overall they are pretty good. Few minor flaws here and there like we all make/made. This is the time to take note of them and move forward and pay attention the next time around for them. I personally like the lighting in most all of them. We all have our own style and you should work with your style to become great within it.

If you have others please share!

Thank you!

Here's some of her cousin who was at the shoot as well;

(disclaimer- the black and white one was botched- I tried to save it as best I could because both of them really liked the shot.)

I'm not very proficient with photoshop yet. :oops: I can give that a shot for sure though. Ty. I noticed it when i edited and uploaded all the pictures. True D'oh moment.

It's not- It's from a single AB400 in a small chimera softbox. I personally like the light > dark look.

I ordered a few 4x6's of these and the WB looks pretty spot on. I shall look into this though.
