Don't think they're Silver Spotted Skippers, & they're not Red Admirals, so I guess I don't have a clue about these, either. Anyone?

These were taken using the Laz* method. I put the cam in a box on the back floor (with 2 shots left on the card). Looked out the window & saw this, so I grabbed the cam & opened the window, took 2 shots, got an "ERROR 99", swore & left.
The "error" was gone when I got home. ;)

Nice shots Frank. I believe that it's a "Painted Lady" (scientific name - Vanessa cardui)

Thank's for the ID. Any suggestions on a good site to ID these? Google didn't help very much.

Thanks. Now I'm putting a new card in the cam when I get down to just a few shots left! ;)

Wonderful shots!

Oh, and *perfect* technique from what I understand. Except you weren't wearing slippers.

Very nice shots, but I'd want to crop the first more like the second is cropped.

Thanks again, Marie & dancinec!
