Hey everyone,

I'm in need for a grilling, don't feel bad about any harsh comments. Remember it's for my own good! So lets hear it, what do you think?

Agreed on the first part... and LOL :)

You could burn in a bit of the white Tshirt where it is overexposed and leave a bit more space where you cropped near her elbow....nothing serious mind you.

Very nice, nothing to criticize at all.

I do find the occasional image that works well with a square crop. I tried it on this one and I think it is worth considering.

You have a great model to work with. What's the story behind the shoot?

It is a good shot....but.....it's almost too clean and sterile.

You've got 'safe' lighting - straight at her. Move a light a bit off axis to get a bit more shadow and drama on her face. Shadow can be a real good thing.

I agree with the above post on the 'safe' lighting. I think lighting coming from an angle from the right front would have made a more dramatic picture.

Well to be honest there's not a big story to it, the model is actually my step sister whos my age too we had been meaning to do a shoot togther for a while. This was something I just wanted to do for myself so I told her about the idea and all. She was keen, so we had a shoot.

:)

I get told my recent images are too clean occasionally now, I don't if I should be worried. I'm going for clean but it's not always a good thing, idealy I want to be able to pull of clean chaotic images. If you know what I mean, anyway fair point about the lighting. I'm a 1st year photographer student, well I'm on break now but I have lots to learn. I guess that's why I'm asking all you fine folk to give me the super feedback you are.

Don't worry, this isn't from my personal collection. I would never do that! I baught it for $1 at this cool little shop in the town my campus is at. To be honest for $1 and it's age it's probably already half way ruined, I've honored it by hanging it on my wall.

Hey and thanks everyone, really appreciate the feedback you've been giving.
