Linked photos not showing up in post - only a red X

What am I doing wrong

This is how I do it and there may be a better way. In flickr choose your image and on the top left of the image click >> share this >> Grab the html/bbc code.

In the window that comes up find the code that looks like this.

(http://farm5.static.fl​ickr.com …76581522_3832e5​370d_b.jpg)

Then put that between some square

Couldn't you just copy that http://.... code and paste it to the box that comes up when you click the picture icon here?

I don't have a flickr account so perhaps that won't work.

And just tried it and it doesn't work - at least not from your account....

Perhaps that's why I use SmugMug.
