Wein HSHSB (great product), infrared remote flash sync, Vivtar 283 (200+ volts trigger) on my homemade holder

Hehe, That's quite the settup. ;) Is that Wein HSHSB a light sensing slave? I've been thinking about rigging something up so I can use my Vivitar 283 for my digitals without smoke billowing out of them, for off camera flash. The 283 is just too good to leave forgotton in a drawer.
BTW, WELCOME to the Forum. :D

I have a Wein digital slave for my Vivitar 285HV when used as an off-camera slave flash.

The Wein HSHSB is a product that reduces the trigger voltage. I used it in my old setup since I did not want to fry my IR Slave. Now that I have a G6 the Wein HSHSB allows me to use the 283 on it.
