:) This is one of the flowers being cultivated in my local park. I know it's not a triffid but can anyone identify it? :)

Its a great shot, I may be mistaken, but I think its in the Passion flower family. grows on a vine, and there several different colors. well done.

i think that if you had shaded all of the flower head you would have a much better shot look how much more saturated the shaded part of the flower head is ,all that a well seen shot plenty of depth and sharp with it

I agree with Bald Eagle it is a passion flower, they grow well in So. California.
