Hey fellas...Sorry if theres already athread like this. Im at work and cant really search. I shouldnt even be on here...:o

Well I think im pretty good with photography and ive come along way with the help of this website. My thing is Im finding my skin processing (retouching, fixing, smooth, etc..) isnt still as realistic as i want/need it to be. Im coming into a world where Im having to be 100% on point being that the client base is getting better and bigger and most are for print in calendars and or mags.

I dont want my work looking like as* wen it gets printed (as it did once) and I end up losing clients instead of gaining.

So question..Any one have any kick as* tutorials that they wouldnt mind sharing? Skin retouch, smoothing, etc...

Any help is good help fellas..Thanks!

Alex, if you find it, please share. My skin skill set needs help. I'm reading a book, by Lee Varis, old school info, but some good stuff there. It's simply called 'skin-the complete guide to digitally lighting, photographing, and retouching faces and bodies".

Just the humble musings of a beginner...

Alex, you've got a lot of skin to retouch, so I'm recommending Lynda.com. The Portrait Retouching with CS5 shows several different methods in detail.

I did get some Lynda.com vids. Porrtait retouching I think. Goog stuff.

Goto Retouch and you will find plenty of people doing live tutorails and names of people to google to get more info n techinique..

Dodge and burn is key...

Just to mention -- I've been told that the book Skin has been updated. I haven't gotten the newer version, so can't comment on it (I myself am not a portrait photog) but the book is definitely a recommended classic.
