He was once the best in the land

This is Drill 'em. He was the best stayer in Australia earlier this year, won 2 group 1 races and 3 other group 2's in a matter of about 8 weeks I think. Over $250,000 in stakes. Now he's newly retired and he goes by the name of Scooter. He's just a big happy goofy boy who is going to enjoy a well earned retirement.

love brindles.. those bare crates they stay in sure does a number on their rumps. looks like he's enjoying retirement already.

I dont think he had a bare crate. I know alot of greyhounds have those bald hindquarters but I think it's either from rough (hessian) bedding or possibly stress, although he hasn't raced for about 9 months and was well loved at the trainers and is a pretty laid back sort of dog, so stress seems unlikely, I cant really say what's caused it, but I know he was well cared for. His breeders have him back now and he's adjusting well to the pet life.
