if you're looking to use a PW as a trigger to the V5 as a receiver and vice versa, it won't work. They won't be able to communicate.

if you're looking to use the V5 and the PW at the same time, and use appropriate receivers (V5 trigger to V5 receiver, PW trigger to PW receiver), then it'll work by having either one of them mounted on the hot shoe, and the other on the PC sync port.

Ah, I see. That's what I was looking for. Thanks.

Double-decker. Nice.

I was just curious because I currently own a pair of v5's and may bet purchasing a set of PW's soon. Thanks for the post.

I think they mean with compatable cameras but I could be wrong about that. I have not tried over 1/250 but I can go here in a minute and take a few at higher speeds.

Yes if your camera will sync at that.. Old cameras like the Nikon D40 and D70 with an electronic shutter they have been tested to sync between 1/1000- 1/2000 with the cactus v5 by the test team I was on... If you say have a Canon or Nikon system with a focal plain shutter your limited to 1/200 or 1/250. This is a camera limit not a trigger limit.

Like what? The trigger only has a single center pin or mono port to fier with dont see how you can hack that... Never have heard of hss hacks..

i think you need to understand how a focal plane shutter works in regards to flash duration before you start to think about your theories.

Any discount codes out there for gadgetinfinity.com?

I noticed in their order sequence that they have a box for discount code - & i am sure its there for a reason ! :)

Also - where do they ship to US customers from? US or Europe?

Ordered and received six of these to replace cybersyncs. So far I like everything about them accept they are significantly larger than the CST, CSRB, etc.

It has a list of compatable flashes on the page.. Also any flash with a pc sync or mono sync port will work. It fiers via center pin. So if your flash does not fier via the center pin it wont work. But 99% of flash units fire that way.
