I am trying to set up my Canon S-95 to take pictures on a radio control airplane.
I am trying to figure out a non mechanical way to trigger the shutter release and since the camera has neither a 2.5mm nor N3 remote connector is there some way to use a remote control switch?

CHDK for some of the PowerShot models supports remote triggering of the camera via the USB port. Might be worth seeing if the S95 version has that.

With CHDK you must supply 5v to + pin and - to pin 4 you must enable remote in the menu see link below

The S95 is still in beta but most options seem to work I believe that includes remote see link below for S95 porting forum
