Im going to offer free downloadable wallpapers on my site soon.
I thought i knew what i was doing, turns out nope.
First my main question, is there any way to make the image look good on the desktop, but bad when printed? Ive tried everything from dropping the image quality when saving, to changing the Dpi. But when i save a new Dpi in irfanview and print threw photoshop i notice it has been changed back. I test print everything i do, and it still prints good.
I really wanted to avoid watermarking the images, but ive started adding see threw watermarks, and im liking the outcome. So i think im going to keep it.
Second, should i resize the image to common screen sizes?
But when i do this on my own 17inch, it tiles it. I know i can change this in my settings, but i wanted to make it has pain free for the customer as possible.
Since this well be free i didnt want them to printable, but if thats unavoidable let me know.
I have Photoshop cs5, and IrfanView to use.
Ps if this is the wrong place for this sorry.
