Sorry for the comparison I'm about to make, but on my Nikon D100, when I set the camera to bracket and pressed the shutter button, the camera would automatically take three shots.

Now, with my Canon, even if I put it on consecutive shooting, it doesn't do it.

Also, on my Nikon, when I took a series of quick shots, it would display them one after the other on the lcd, whereas on the Canon it only shows one.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it just one of the differences in the way the two cameras work?

Thanks.

I think in a certain mode it WILL. But not in other modes. If you notice there will be a (Dark-Med-Light) square flashing, notifing you that you did not fire 3 shots. I am also interested in the "pro" answer on this.

Just one of the differences.

p. 84 of the 20D manual wrote:
If the drive mode is set to continuous, the three shots will be taken continuously and then the shooting will stop automatically. If the drive mode is set to single image, you must press the shutter button three times. If the self-timer has been set, the three bracketed shots will be taken continuously.

White Balance Auto Bracketing works the same way.

It's nothing right or wrong. That's just the way it is.
