Just realized resizing for web degraded the images. will rework and post

To my eye, these shots look quite underexposed.

#1 is potentially the best but could use a lot more light on the faces.

I think the expressions caught in #3 are very nice. I feel that this shot is framed a bit loose however - the left half doesn't add much to the photo.

Re-touched and adjusted the resizing (have not touched exposure yet), and looking forward to C&C

i like the 3rd, but 1st image of your daughter seems to be slightly oversaturated in post...OR maybe the she moved too quickly..perhaps quicker shutter speed next time?

i think overall the local contrast (clearity slider in lightroom) is pushed too high. the shadows on the faces are too deep.

bang on, have been recently plaing with it and trying to figure it out.
