We had some beautiful snow fall last week in my hometown and it's stuck around nicely. I tried to capture some of this beauty this morning.

Please comment!

Your constructive criticism is always welcomed and appreciated.

All of these photos were taken within a city and I tried to be very selective to eliminate distracting background elements.

I am liking that 1st shot - might crop out some of the bottom.

Thanks for the comments all. This is one of the few threads that i've posted that haven't had a lot of negative criticism. I hope that is a sign of improvement!

Or maybe this is just one of the perks to living in Saskatchewan in the winter!

really like that first one. I agree with spike that you can probably crop a bit from the bottom, but I think it looks good as is also.

Very nice! I especially like #1 and the feel of warm light on the snow. Just as an experiment, I enhanced the warmth a little bit
and reduced the blue in the shadows. Not a criticism of your version, merely a visual experiment ...

Thanks again everyone. I have a few others from the photo shoot that I may post on here later on, though these were the best of the bunch. Thanks again for the positive feedback.

I quite like the first one, crop out some of the bottom for sure. See what you think but I recon theres a fair chance it will look better. I love the pastelish blue sky though, blue and white in photography always looks great I think which is pretty much what your colour pallete is limited to :) Personally if it were my image I would ditch those light posts.

They are all really nice photo's.

I really like the edit done by Peano.

Probably the only criticism I can give is the lamp post front and centre in pic1.

I may have shot the pic slightly more from the left so the lamp post appears more to the side of frame rather than right in the middle.
