cdifoto, get over yourself already.

I agree, others are allowed to have their own opinions.

I don't see the value in this book or his photos, that doesn't mean I'm envious.

Yes they are good, but to me, not worth it. Maybe to someone else, but not me.

Only when they coincide with mine!

I wouldn't (I'd buy a new lens) but I mean Peter Lik isn't known for affordable prices as far as I know, he's gotta keep that exclusivity I guess.

ON the flip side, would you sell a book for $2000 if you thought you could? I sure as hell would! As it stands, I have to give my photobooks away to grandma as a christmas present...

If I had 2000$ to throw away, I'd certainly buy that book. I can have a book of good pictures instead of throwing the money away :-P

On a seriously note, can I get a Ansel Adams print for that money? Or is that unimaginable :-/

Yanno,......I must be a simple guy. Cause I'm sitting here, reflecting on my life, and what things I think I could add, or do, that I would really regret not having in my life, should I get hit by a car tomorrow.

This guy's book is definitely not on the list. Nor any single image this guy has ever produced, or ever will.

They're just images. If you have the internet, there's an unlimited amount of them, to satisfy whatever need one might have, to view beautiful images.

Why would you I want to pay him $2000 to view a bunch of images? I'd be essentially paying him, because he's.... him.

If the book was $99.95, I could see myself buying it. But at $199.95, it would have to include a $100 gift certificate to a spa.

Let's face it. The guy's ego is overblown because his clients have set a precedent.

I'm just not one of those who are easily impressed an excessive amount, by any single 'artist'.
