House Finch

Male house finch (upper left) looks like he has been dunked in raspberry juice and female house finch (center) has just a slight tinge of raspberry red. This was my first time to see these birds and fortunately, I had my camera with me. They were rather difficult to photograph because they did not sit still for more than a second as they constantly flitted from one spot to another.
