Sandhill cranes checking out the statue

I saw these sandhill cranes on a recent visit to Palm Beach Gardens and took a few shots as they check out the the statue:

I drove passed that statue once per month on my way to a client in Palm Beach Gardens and kept putting off taking a photo until I saw the three sandhill cranes staring at the statue like a classroom setting or as you pointed out as if they were dictating a letter to the statue.

LOL....these are both great shots Tony....sure brought a smile.

So true.

It appeared as if they first scout the area at a distance before getting closer to the statue. It was really funny to watch for about 15 minutes.

Look at this image where the bravest of the 3 got really close and maybe started to dictate a letter on behalf of the owner of the missing feather!
