So i dont know if its a windows 7 thing or if its because i have an upgraded monitor 23'' HD but i have calibration settings that i am able to adjust. how accurate is this and is it recomended?

tonylong ...winded More info | Dec 19, 2010 18:31 | #2 A hardware calibration system is "best practice" because it gives you a standardized "profile" that has the best chance of enabling color-managed software to produce images that will match prints as well as appear uniform across other color managed software/systems. The "built-in" calibration is really not geared toward photo editing. It can give "pleasing" looks but not necessarily photo-accurate. Tony
