I was getting these ready to pass along to a friend after the subject recently came up,
and I thought the gang here would get a good chuckle out of it.

This was displayed at the Makers Faire over the summer, at The Henry Ford (external link).
I didn't come away from the event with so many pictures, but did grab several of this particular abomination:

This set was simply to grab images, not for any redeeming quality or composition
exercises, so I know they're amateurish, but I thought the thing was just hilarious.

An "Award winning art car"? That sounds fishy to me! Put one in here: Post your "What were the owners thinking" images!

FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...
Classic Carz, Racing, Air Show, Flowers.
Find the light... A few Car Lighting Tips, and MOVE YOUR FEET!
Have you thought about making your own book? // Need an exposure crutch?

Feel free to use any photo's that I post for any purpose that I don't find offensive. I'd be honored to find my pics used on that world wide web thingy....

Now I understand. He got the "Lack of common sense to start a project like this" right, & especially the "annoying" part. It did make me laugh, so he deserves that award. :D
