We put our house on the market a few weeks ago and I did the pics for the advertising. Looking for some C&C. (it sold in the first open inspection :D)

Attempt to rent a fish-eye lens. It'll make the rooms appear more spacious and you also can cover the whole room in the photo. It may be due to your crop factor, but the rooms seem to tight. Know what I mean?

I wouldn't recomend a fish eye for selling a house, but I was going to ask what focal length you shot them at because it seems like around 24mm on a crop body. If you could get something closer to 16mm it would probably look a bit better rooms wise.

That first shot is quite nice, keeping in mind what you're using it for. The left hand side isnt the best but obviously you can't do much about it, it would look weird if you left no room on the left.

Yeah 17mm on a 50D. Ideally id have liked a 16-35 on a 5Dii. That combo is on the wish list :)

Oh really? Looked like a longer focal length than that to me. I'm not sure if you're familair with why you get compression and exageration but it's not the lens. It's just the distance you are from what you photograph, so if you're further back and had to crop them it will appear that you've used a longer focal length. But yeah I mean obviously you've done the best you can with the gear you've got, if you don't have acess to 16mm on a FF body you just can't produce that same exageration so seems like you've done a fine job to me.
