New to this HDR forum.

Here is a photo taken last year and it was nearly a rubbish from the first sight. But a few process with psuedo HDR and a little bit more turned it into a very acceptable one.

Here is the result.

The 1st shot is very nice.....my preferred. The red bars in the other 2 make it distracting but not so much in the B&W....I am guessing.

Advice and comments are welcome.

Since you are asking, I will comment. This does not qualify as 'HDR', this is Tone Mapping. There is a big difference. Tone Mapping is when you take an image, or bracket of images, and adjust the image to get results like this. A true HDR image is a High Dynamic Range image. The two are often confused but not the same.

With that said, the Tone Mapping seems to have a little too much saturation for the shot. I think the red is a little to bold, IMO. I actually like the B&W best.

Clipper, Spike44 and TGrundvig, Thanks for your comments.

TGrundvig, thanks for your comment on the HDR and tone mapping and that is why I did put a "psuedo" in front of HDR.

I like the third shot the best, but Ithink I would like it more if you took a bit of the saturation out of it. Nice shot all in all.

Jon,

Thanks for your comment, yes, the red is a little bit distracting.

No offense, but there is not such thing as a "psuedo' High Dynamic Range image.

An image is either High Dynamic Range, or its not. This is Tone Mapping, not HDR. I guess some people don't understand the difference.

You do realize that HDR stand for High Dynamic Range image, right? Tone Mapping does not make an image psuedo HDR. That is a term coined by people that don't understand what HDR really stands for.
