I've noticed recently a lot of photography sites are doing friend pages (against rules of facebook but they are doing it) and using BIZNAME-PHOTOGRAPHY as their last name. Wonder how strict facebook is with this......

our business facebook page is our business name, our other page is Scott-Erica EmeraldDesign. This way, it is us as two people and not a business. It is a friend page. We direct people from there to our business page and encourage those just on the business page to interact with us directly on the friend page. (we just set this up last week so it's more of a plan than an actual working model at the moment)

The main goal is to eventually gain access to potential clients before we respond to inquiries. Check out their facebook and decide if they are the right clients for us. Hey, clients are selective in who they hire, why can't the photographers be selective in who they work for. :D

Theoretically, the Facebook staff will delete both accounts if they discover what you've done. It doesn't really look, however, like there's any staff keeping track of such things unless someone persistently whines to them about it.

What if we legally change our last name to Design. :)
