hey everyone! i've been asked to take some maternity shots for my boyfriend's sister and need some help because i'm only experienced in the studio and these will be done on location with natural light as the only source.

i have a lot of experience taking maternity shots while working for a studio but now that i'm no longer there i have no access to a studio or the tools i need for a proper location shoot....unless i'm wrong and i can actually do it with your help...so...advice?

it's winter and may be too cold for an outdoor shoot...so i was thinking maybe i should suggest just doing it in their home...some pretty reflective shots of them in the nursery...some playful and sweet ones of them in their bedroom and maybe a few outside in jeans and sweaters...but i need advice on working with natural light..and just any other creative suggestions for working in someones home rather than a studio.

thanks so much to anyone who can help!

I would think that would help, something to reference.
often these threads end up more about equipment because that's what people can speak to
if not given some sort of indication of capability, etc..

I think they also talk more about this stuff over in the kids/families forum.

I think you can do this, if not what is the worst that can happen? Reshoot?

I think showing some examples and listing your gear would be nice to know, but not necessary.
