I think #2 is a really cool image. Was that just a long exposure using available light?

That is correct. It was about 1/10 second. Handheld.

Hiya MindlessConsumer and others..

I am quite new to this site... You guys can tell me to buzz off if you want..

No1. I think the idea behind this one is a good one, the kid and the chaos around him.. It almost looks like a Leica type B&W shot... Unfortunately, where the attention should be, the kid's face, is blurred or i mean out-of focus... It looks like almost, you were moving backwards as you took the shot..

No2. I agree with snyderman.. This is the best one.. I dunno how you managed to hold the camera still, handheld at 1/10 and didn't get a blur.. Great shot and nice, abandoned, mood to it too..

No3. Almost a 'Journalistic' shot... I find the buildings on the top right and behind the flag, distracting, instead it would have been better to see the Dome, but, i guess you couldn't do that from where standing.. (I am presuming this is the White House) and still get the placards in..

Nice, adventurous photography though, and opportunist in a positive way..

I see #2 as a nice retro-look atmospheric.

#1 recalls many of my efforts that could have been good without the fatal flaw.

If I knew the building in the immediate background #3 might have some impact.
