Nice shot. Looks like everything came together. The nut makes it look more spontaneous than the typical "bird-on-a-stick" setup.

hehe, i was looking at this lens last evening but didnt like the feel of it, do u feel that it produces sharp tack images out of the camera or u really need to post process it to get the sharpness.

500mm f / 9 sharp, 500mm f6.7 quite soft, 420mm is OK at all blend
and there is not much to sharpen. In any case, I use a tripod or monopod, and everything is OK
