What Mount is This?

I recently bought a Rokinon 28mm f/2.8 on eBay a few weeks ago on the cheap. At the time, I was not sure what mount this would take. I thought pK mount so I bought the pk to eos adapter off of ebay as well. Today, I tried fitting the lens to the adapter and no dice...

Can anyone help out with what kind of mount this takes? Maybe I'm doing something wrong when trying to put it on?

It is not a T-mount. T-mount are threaded mounts often found on telescopes.

Sadly, that looks like a Canon FL/FD mount, which means you have no attractive mounting options for your EOS camera. Sell the lens back on ebay and try to recover some of your investment is about all you can do.

If you want to use cheap manual lenses, my recommendation would be to stick with Olympus OM, Pentax m42, and Nikon mounts.

Just pulled my 50mm f1.4 off my Canon F-1 and compared. It definitely is an FD mount. It would fit my F-1 :-)

That lens is so not worth buying a $30 adapter with a 1.25x teleconverter in it. You'll end up with a softish 35mm f3.5 lens after using that adapter.

Thank you for your help and all others. This is going back on the bay. I only spent $11 shipped, shouldn't be a problem getting that back.
