No clever photoshop here, practically straight off camera. A concept i'd wanted to try for some time now... Here's my first attempt using some random Christmas Wrapping paper i'd found in the house:

Unfortunately the paper was creased and reflective, making the overall outcome of the photograph somewhat iffy. A black and white conversion was done to hide some of the creases. I decided I wasnt happy with it, and wanted to have another go with a different slant on the concept.

Last night I visited Paperchase (a UK stationers) to buy three pieces of 'uncreased' matte card. The photograph worked well, but thought it looked great as a triptych

Very nice job. Loved the first one already, but as cozmo says, the color ones are wild!

Did you happen to get a set up shot. I'd love to see the lighting plan.

Very well done!

Apologies for the iPhone picture, it's the only one I have as it was taken a while back now. No setup shot for the b/w version, but it was identical except having one piece of paper against the wall and not two.

For the triptych i simply replaced/changed the coloured card over on the wall and reshot. If your clever, you'll use a tripod so its easy to sort out a triptych...I found out the hardway and to play around in photoshop lots
