I nearly wet myself with excitement! :D

Niiice! He/She (I can never tell the difference in Sparrow Hawks!?!) might well become a regular now he's found your bird table. Easy pickings! :D

The way I do it ... which might be a long winded / beginner's way ... but

In PS I look at Canvas size, and increase the height of the image ... you can play around and see how much extra you need ... but there's an option at the bottom to select whether you want black / white / background for the extended size so I just choose black ...

Am probably doing a silly way but works for me ;)

Evening one and all - greetings from a very windy and bitterly cold Guernsey :)

Tryping on my Blackberry :( so viewing the recent postings not easy but top praise to Richard and Clare, not forgetting Lee's stunning garden visitor :)

Not much chance to tog until this afternoon :( might try a location I found for an image in mind but need low tide tomorrow before our flight back.

But did meet up with Paul Hillion who has a very nice port of bird images www.islandbirds.co.uk (external link) also went to museum/art gallery where they have the Wildlife tog of the Year on dispkay - all good but some especial stunningly inspiring images seen.

Lastly (thumbs & fingers sore ) for cricket fans do have a look the back page of the Sunday Telegraph sports section great image of Jonathan Trott (the eyes have it!!!)

Ttfn. :D

Might be pushing your boredom limits here ... but quick question ... have I added too much noise to this ... was going for an old-style look ...

Just looking on Flickr and the shot of the Quarterhouse I posted friday had 19 views yesterday, while that may not seem a lot to some people on here for me that's is a lot for a photo let alone in just one day. Does this mean I'm getting something right?

Thanks, another way I have found is using mogrify in LR but this puts the borders inside the picture so you lose some of the image so depending on the picture using PH is the other option.

Matt thanks will have a look at that

The second shot looks better to me on the laptop.. The bright green area seems less obvious!

Great shot tho! :D
