oh my god, I dunno what the builders are doing in the flat below but it feels like I'm gonna fall through the floor in a minute. Sounds like a sander or some heavy duty vibrating instrument. My brain is shaking! This is the first day I've tried my remote connection to work and it actually works!

Lovely shot ... gives me an impression of peace for some reason ... perhaps it's the colours.

Thanks Clare :)

I'm trying very hard to make 2011 a 'No new gear year'. Please bookmark this post and link it to me if I ever talk about buying new kit

I've had to replace a broken lens hood this weekend, that doesn't count as 'new gear' right?? ;)

lol, I think replacement kit is exempt. But if it's not, then technically I almost made it a whole month which is pretty good considering my buying habits ;)

If you start saying that replacement kit is exempt from the new rule, then you'll be able to justify "replacing" a lens with a newer version one ... or "replacing" a zoom with a prime lens ... or ...!!!

I'd say replacing BROKEN kit is exempt.

Good point! I did actually mean replacing something that was broken. I may try to work that angle if I sell a couple of lenses to fund a new one however ;)

Good! I broke a lens hood this weekend and just replaced that. I think I'm still ok ;)

Though to be honest, I've been eyeing up some new umbrellas...

I've obviously been working with lawyers for too long (or not long enough as I've left a lot of loopholes ;))
