I have a feeling i'll be getting the worst of it.:lol:

Morning all ... was thinking about pretending to be really offended and upset ... but that's so not me!!! No worries guys ... I would have put your minds at rest earlier, but I crashed early last night before all the comments were made and have had a late start to the day!! So don't worry at all .. am not upset / offended ... and certainly won't be making you guys feel bad!!!

Am really struggling with work at the moment ... desperately need a change in job, or a holiday ... oh WAIT A MINUTE ... I have a long weekend in 3 weeks time ... guess that'll keep me going!!! Anyone else got plans to keep them going??

Off to Egypt in April assuming the country hasn't destroyed itself before then ;)

It's a long ways off though, a long weekend between now and then would probably be a good idea.

Hope it settles down by then. You can get a week in a 5 star in sharm for £250 at the moment..
Where are you off to out there? Ive heard of some great places where you stay in huts on the beach out there. looks amazing.

I can't imagine they'll still be demonstrating in April?

I always fancied a holiday on the Nile - whereabouts are you headed Kevin?

See I'd HATE a holiday just staying at Sharm El Shiek. give me this (external link) any day of the week.

If it were this week that would be poorly timed ;)

My mom is actually taking me on this holiday, so she's planned it all out. Start in Aswan for a few days, then a couple of days on the nile to luxor and a few days there, then to cairo before heading home. It's 2 weeks in total and lots of cool stuff including a nights stay out in the desert, a balloon ride etc. I'm looking forward to it :)

Yea, demonstrators get bored easily. I'll be surprised if there are still major issues next week let alone by April (that's what we're hoping at least!)

Yup, that's more along the lines of our itinerary as well. I'm not really a 5 star kind of guy (despite what it says on my business cards)

Went to Luxor 3 years ago ... had a good week there although temps over 40 were challenging at times! The history is amazing through ... and a balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings is a must if you're in the area!!

We're hoping to avoid those by going in spring time :)

Balloon ride is in the plan!
