Two hours before, I had condemned this hotel to my wife as "adequate but sterile" - now if feels like home. actually, I'm mor concerned about the pacific islands (Fiji/Vanatu/Solomons etc) that are already under it. They usually get flattened with a Cat 1 cyclone, much less a Cat 5. I've got a cousin about to get hit in north Queensland but she's just on the edge of it. souporman wrote in post #11761342 Nice!
