Quick question???

I also ordered earlier this evening a Hoya Pro1 Digital MC Protector filter ~ have the same on my other L, used Amazon marktplace merchant Camera King. Now unlike me  I then decided to punt around for reviews of this supplier and to say the least they do not seem to be very complimentary :( Their rating on Amazon is damn near 100%

So has anyone here used them and in your opinion were they OK to deal with???

I think i have bought from them in teh past - not sure.

Regardless, its always best to remember that people are very read to express their discontent with a dealer but are much less inclined to expend energy praising a company. Many companies i rate highly have rakes of negative reviews but i will still continue to deal with them since i have never had anything but perfect service from them.

Ah! point taken but I try to be risk aware rather than completely risk averse...............but the price was so very good and the negatives were strongly stated so I feared it might have been a case of 'if it is too good to be true.........' I think what is concerning is that a lot of the negativity in this case refers to the almost complete lack of responsiveness on the part of the supplier!!!

Oh well decision done and cannot cancel  I know how Hoya seal their filters so fully expect to see what is !00% kosher when I get it.

Impatient or what still showing as at Cowdenbeath???

PS How goes the not so new job now and plans for the house move?

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

fair enough - fingers crossed that it comes to you in all its packaging :)

New job is going really will - lots to learn and its far more interesting that what i did before. I do miss the selling aspect a little bit though.

Move into the new house on 21st April - cant wait. This commute is making me very very tired!

PS What bag are you waiting on

This one a lowepro vertex 200 got it secondhand...very annoyingly DHL reckon they tried to deliver it yesterday late afternoon, I was in and they did not:mad: I have had this problem with them before and their depot is not local.

Question.. Do you guys sell images hi-res on DVD ever? If so what do you charge for them and does it depend on how many you supply? I currently charge £125 for a DVD of hi-res images no matter how many I supply, but am wondering if I should change this?

Also do you have an hourly charge if your shooting on location etc.. Just trying to figure out what to charge for yesterday, I was just doing it as a favour but they are insisting on me being payed for my time!

Hi there guys, hope everyone is doing well.

Anothe great "Band of Brothers" set there!

I just wanted to let you guys know my wife is in hospital. It's nothing life threatening, but she'll be in there for a while to come. So, naturally, I'll be spending as much time as I can with her.

So, if you see any of my status updates on Facebook that might not make sense, they probably will now!! :D
