Some super shots here in the last day or so. Love the WW2 pics, great Stranglers pics. LOVE the woodpecker - and I think the Kingfisher is great even though it's not quite what you wanted. Nice fox through the fence too. Mum has some tame foxes - she can hand feed them - must go round there with my camera one day soon. No photos for me today, dog training all day - very successful day loads of huge improvements from some really difficult dogs.

I hope Mrs Pete improves soon.

If you need someone to carry your bag when you go visit the foxes let me know ....!!

Agree with the comments about the shots so far this weakened ... Great series Rob ... Lovely fox (and starling) Lee ... Loving the kf and green woodpecker too!

+1 on best wishes for Mrs Pete ... Take care of yourself so you can take care of her too ... And if you need any help with anything please shout!

Hi there guys, hope everyone is doing well.

Anothe great "Band of Brothers" set there!

I just wanted to let you guys know my wife is in hospital. It's nothing life threatening, but she'll be in there for a while to come. So, naturally, I'll be spending as much time as I can with her.

So, if you see any of my status updates on Facebook that might not make sense, they probably will now!! :D

Sending bestest wishes to you both, Pete.

All the other regulars were posing today at the BWC...

I tried to do something a little different here, as the Fox was so close to the fence...

These are great, Lee, not many people appreciate just how beautiful and colourful Starlings are. Great birds :)

Bit of a rush to get these edited in time for use by the group so i am not 100% happy with these ( need to work on halos and brights spots in many), but here is what i was working with last weekend.

It never ceases to amaze me how you nail the exposure on these type of shots in what must be awful lighting conditions. Excellent stuf and the KF shots were none too shabby either :)

Best wishes to Mrs Pete - sounds like she is in good hands. Which hospital? As Laurence said, look after yourself too, these times can be very stressful.

This one for me. Like the concept.

Thanks mate. She's in the John Radcliffe in Oxford. Even though I have a good private health plan through work, she's in the best place possible, and under the best care.

Cheers Jonathan, it was one of the worst lighting set ups I've had to deal with for a while.

Tis dreadful here, drizzly and misty. I'm off to walk the dogs then Homebase or BnQ to get some things to sort my new backdrops. Need to ask some lighting questions pls - currently only have a 430 ex, and it's doing the job well for me - but if I want the background lit brightly too, I'm gonna need a 2nd light aren't I. Should that be a continuous light or another flash? anyone got any advice or shall I go post on the lighting section :D

Do not forget that you need to look after yourself during and after she comes out of hospital..........rooting for both of you.

Pete Ditto the above, remember you need to be in good health and mind to look after her, it is all to easy to forget yourself.
