Evening all. More great photos.

I've spent most of the evening trying to think up a domain name. I just eant to put some of my photos on the site. And a little bit about me. But I'm stuck on what to choose. Do I go for something fun and quirky, or something that points towards photography? I have a dew rough ideas for both but what are your thoughts? Thanks guys.

Don't you work at Dungeness? How about thermonuclearphotography.com?

Really great shot Matt! Did you add the vignette in post, or was it done with your lighting?

Mine is an anagram of my name, maybe give that a shot (external link)?

Morning all, so who's put in an application for Olympic tickets then?

Done! Though I hope I don't get all of the tickets I applied for, could be an expensive month :)

I'd seen the Nikon report over the weekend - but interesting to see the Canon one too ...

Morning folks ... been a bit quiet over the last few days ... went to Eastbourne to see my Mum and decided NOT to come into the office yesterday so I only have FOUR boring days left of this old job!!! I actually have ONE meeting today so at least that will pass an hour ;) ... the rest of the week is very quiet and so I'll be trying NOT to buy new gadgets!!!

Some great shots that I missed - Mat and Matt - a superb video Penel, and welcome noobies!!

Right ... how to pass my boring work day ;) ...

I will be doing that for the Track cycling. The road race is free !

and they go right past here - I think the course goes up Box Hill. Other than that don't think we'll be going unless by some miracle OH gets in to the discus throwing comp. He'll be going to the trials but probably won't get in as there are younger guys throwing much further at the mo.

Morning all. Beautiful day here today. Friend is coming over with her baby for more photos, he's about 11 wks old now I think.

Cheers Kev!

It was added in LR.. I did try and just fill them with the flashes by dropping the EV down, but then I lost exposure and didn't really have time to keep fiddling!

Can you not just reset the DNS servers? If he's just done it then the settings won't have propagated out yet so it shouldn't really have much effect.

Well, I reset the domain onto the 1and1 servers but I think it did have an effect of some description already. Bloody annoying!!

Hopefully it'll get sorted soon...just got to figure out why the ftp access isn't working next - I had thought that it was because I had to wait for the DNS settings to be completed fully and today's hiccup has put me back again to the start of the wait!

Changes to DNS settings can take up to 24 hours to propogate across the internet. However, if you have an IP address for the server running ftp, you can always test with that. Annoying though...

Yea, you should be able to connect via an IP address. Does that work?

Also, why does someone else have access to your fathers account and why would they bother changing the DNS settings??
