Wow - looks like the threads taken a nap!?! :D

What's everyone been up to? Anyone got photos to share??

Here's some from a farm trip yesterday...

You have got into use the fish eye then, it has its uses. They look good.
I've went to a cycling roadrace today so have a load to up load. Had an intresting chat with a pro photographer about what long lens to get.

Great set of pics Lee - Magnolias are absolutely stunning this year arent they, they are so full of blooms.

Love the effect of this lense.

I went out birding today at Pulborough Brooks. Chiffchaffs to be seen and heard every. Lots of smaller bird activity there today with some Sand Martins and Swallows back :D

Firs time I have managed to get close enough for some Chiffchaff pics and this little cutie was the closest I have ever got to one. Just a couple from a selection of pics that I took.

@ Matt ~ glad you like the Wolves, they are quite intriguing and interesting animals.

Re your new style of PP'ing ~ quite disturbing in a strange sort of way, very edgy. Before I scrolled down and only saw the #1 it reminds me of the dark moodiness of the Films 1984 and Farenheit 451

@ Linda ~ likewise glad you find the Wolves pleasing :D Your little songbirds are stonking images, the female Blackcap is a winner even though she is a little soft compared to the Chifchaff ones above her, it is the juxtapositioing with the lovely blossom!

@ Lee ~ that fisheye certainly does throw some very odd perspectives, the Magnolia blossom is maybe the standout one for me???

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Thanks Wayne!

sounds like you drank your pro-rata allowance then?

Ahhh Hungover Rob... :D it's like your X-Men special power!

Lol that the best way to look at i guess - i was owed that alcohol!

X-men huh? I guess with all the metal in my arms and the beard i could be a little like Wolverine, just without the useful regeneration abilities for dealing with hangovers and broken bones!

Ref: this forum ~ I used to get thread update emails that had the reply content, all I get now is that a new post has happened, I wonder what changed and why???

There's been a few cases where spammers have spammed links into threads that have been subscribed and the links then get transferred on to the user via email (before a moderator gets to the thread and deletes the post).

Since we want to do everything to limit the impact of spam, Pekka has changed the software so that post content doesn't go into the subscription notification email.

We know it's an inconvenience, but why on earth would you want to spend any time away from POTN?? :D

A few more that passed the cut ;)

#1 The snarl (there was not much snarling and spatting but this one I just caught a bit of???)

IMAGE: http://www.1stdesignit.co.uk/wolf/snarl_lrPP-5489.jpg

#2 Watching (I tried to get a few environmental type images ~ this one made me think of the wolf in hiding just watching the prey species)
IMAGE: http://www.1stdesignit.co.uk/wolf/watching_lrPP-5616.jpg

#3 Watching close up & personal (actually a very tight crop but it was very intently looking at something)
IMAGE: http://www.1stdesignit.co.uk/wolf/watching2_lrPP-5461.jpg

#4 On the chase (not many good opps for capturing movement ~ this is the best of very limited bunch)
IMAGE: http://www.1stdesignit.co.uk/wolf/web_runlrPP-5681.jpg

What do you think?

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Ah! the devil in the details ~ thanks for the explanation, it is a pity becuase on BlackBerry reading the post contents was very good because as a browser it is poor :(
