ref: the Furies

It was by Keith Roberts and called The Furies. Seems to have had various reprints since 1966, none too sure if I still have my copy (way too many things happened over the years meaning clearouts ~ willing & unwilling) but have not seen a cover version like the one I recall.

Edit ~ I think this was the copy I had/have. This image shows the synopsis on the back cover :) http://www.flickr.com …9503078599@N01/442354290/ (external link)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Thanks for the good thoughts guys. It's been good to have friends and family help me out. There's no way that I can deal with this by myself.

I'm thinking of opening a bottle of wine and grabbing some dinner. It's always WineTime somewhere in the world :)

Go for it!

Morning all, back to Brands Hatch again today.... anyone else get an email about this (external link) from 7dayshop

That looks really cool. I wonder how it works? And if it colour casts at all? It's fairly cheap for an 8 stop ND filter, let alone a variable filter

Lol that the best way to look at i guess - i was owed that alcohol!

X-men huh? I guess with all the metal in my arms and the beard i could be a little like Wolverine, just without the useful regeneration abilities for dealing with hangovers and broken bones!

What do you think?

Really enjoying the wolf series, you manage to get some really great shots out there.

Morning folks...

I hope everyone's well? looks like another sunny day, I'm only in for this morning too as I am airport run duty...

thanks for the kind comments about the fisheye lens, it does make for some unusual shots! I'll try not to drown you all in the resulting shots! :D

Linda those bird photos are lovely - the Blackcap in Blossom is especially delightful!

& it looks like the Wolf day was a great success, perhaps a review of the centre when you get a moment Laurence?

I forgot I also managed some sleepy Ferret shots... (not quite Weasels, but close JD!)

Aww! I was at the London zoo on Saturday and I think the ferrets were one of my favourites. If I didn't have cats, I'm sure I'd have a ferret as a pet, they're just too cute :)

ps: lovin the fishy shots as well mate. I'm sure it'll entertain you for ages.

Thanks Kev.

She was very sleepy and walking around slowly so I took a chance. As soon as I got her outside though she flew off...I did a quick sidestep though when she went! :D

Afternoon, or morning as it is here. Spent the afternoon in Manhatten but didn't really photograph to much as I was a bit jet lagged and to be fair, I'd photographed most of New York before. I do need to work up some confidence with street shooting though as I missed to cracking opportunities of the local homeless populace - I just didn't wnat to end up with a knife in my ribs if they take offence :)

I may head in again later in the week. My 2 day trip has now been extended so I might be able to bunk off to B&H if I have time on Thursday. It's easier to ask the wifes forgiveness than permission right? :)

Great shots over the weekend by the way.

Next time carry some twinkies so if they give chase you can distract them

No worries about that. Most of them carry guns over there ;)

Was going to give a guy a few dollars until I realised I'd left my USD in my room. Quick bank hunt then to find a bank that would accept UK cards (harder than you think)
