When will we find out what this 'thing' is??

hehe - dont want to tempt fate - but it's a new role at a bank originating from hong kong and shanghai

hehe...it's the only crappy thing about my deal to relocate to London. "You'll be the only IT person in that office, so you get to answer stupid questions about Word and fix printers." "Oh, and you also overlap with our HK office and we don't, so you get to support them too".

That last bit wasn't mentioned till I got here ;)

lol - "hidden responsibilities"

Nice one! To be honest, I actually figured it was something more photo-centric. This other opportunity sounds like more £ though ;)

Neal is the last remaining white IT guy in the UK. Attenborough is going to do a program about him :)

Yes, I'd seen I could do that on mine and had pressumed it was a function of the iPad not something unique to Vodafone. Having just looked at Cindy's, it is indeed different.

The most important thing to consider is where you will use 3G. Reception at home is the least important as there you have wifi, but as it usually takes a crowbar to get you out of RTW, local reception is a huge factor in your choice, so if Vodafone have the best signal then go with them.

Went for Vodafone and it appears that Apple's prices on their website are very old so got a rolling monthly plan for £7.50 :) only really got it to use when out and about town and their reception is rather good. We shall see anyway.
