Yay thats my flights to Ireland booked for my mates wedding that he has asked me to photograph.

Cant believe how much extra they charge you for simple things, £10 each way for me to have a bag in the hold, £5 just to process the whole thing, £25 each way taxes and charges.

/Rant over

Can't comment too much on used MKIVs have seen them new as low as £3 000, I think that is a good price for it I know if I saw it I would be very tempted did not realise they were as cheap as that secondhand. i have not heard of that site before have you used it before?

Re 300 2.8 it looks very cheap, have seen a couple for high 2 000 on talk photography

Anke wrote in post #11595044 (external link)
Too cheap? Too good to be true, therefore...

ies photos wrote in post #11596906 (external link)
Craigslists is known as being dodgy, I'd question the 300mm reason being for music photography, I can take a photo of someones nose full frame at 200mm your that close, follow it up by all means but donn't go there with £4k in your pocket.

Kaben wrote in post #11596923 (external link)
As Ian said are quite a few scams on craigslist - stolen items, items that dont exist, they ask for a deposit and you never hear from them again etc. They must be dodgey at that price.

TCIK wrote in post #11596932 (external link)
Sounds too good to be true, and I'll second the above... Craigslist doesn't have a good reputation...

I think these prices are too good to be true. Let's put our super sleuth Adrian onto the case and see what he can find?

I have sent an e-mail re the 1D asking what is included, if he doesn't have the box, leads and instructions etc I think that will be very telling.

Unfortunately off to Weymouth so will have to wait til tomorrow night to what the reply is
