Guys just briefly popping in.
Thanks for the offers to come and support the Charity event on 23rd.
Mark Bridger is the first person to respond and is going to join me.
Kay I don't know if I can get you full access, but if you still want ot come I'll definately get you involved there's plenty going on during the day so we can always use more photographers.
Let me know by PM.

There's more charity events coming up, if anyone would be kind enough to support us with.

Adrian I'm going to be in touch soon regarding this years Triumph Triple Challenge which is running as a full time support series with the British Superbike Championship, on will be a support at the British Grand Prix - Moto GP round at Silverstone!!!.

I've still got a load of motorsport potentials this year, and will try and get some more of you involved this season.

Salma, I might be, what spec/price? PM me if you like.

Oh, I've done some clearing up this morning and come across my old 1D IIN box. Does anybody want it? Can make resale more valuable if you don't already have one.
Otherwise its going in the recycling.

The boxes do sell quite well on eBay if you can be bothered.

Funny you should say that I was thinking along the same lines;)

I will definitely be hiring the 300 2.8 to test the autofocus on that ( to seeen if it is as good as I think it is going to be ) but obviously at a track with better access

Ohh that would be wonderful....ultimately I was looking at getting that combination as a pair but it would be the 300 mkI.

Or could hire it for a day and get together at Knowle sometime and give our f4s inferiority complexes....problem is the 2.8 is so big there is no way I could buy one without the missus noticing:(

Phew! I heard a rep for Dwaynes being interviewed and he spoke about their agreement with Kodak to buy enough "chemistry" for the projected demand for number of rolls to be developed (a big $$$$ investment by the sound of it???) and that chemistry is now about used up.......hence Kodachrome well & truly dead :(

A unique and wonderfull film has gone ~ RIP Kodachrome

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Ive the same problem, I nearly bought a s/h 300 2.8 the other week but thought I better not as the wife would notice, I just need to convince her that I need it....

as for hiring one then im up for that, I would like to see how the mk3 TC performs on it, I had a play yesterday on my 300 f4 which made it a 600 f8, the focus was a tad slower in low contrast, but the light was crap so I need to have a better go hopefully tomorrow as im not at work....

You are on the list already Lawrence, don't worry!

It's gone a bit quiet, but I have potentially a whole year full of 4 wheeled motorsport events! and not just minor events, things like BTCC, Porsche cup, and more...

Thats cool, the kids loved it as well.

I've just been reading up on the PS3 hack thats been released, basically it's game over for PS3 security. All the private keys have been released, alowing any code to be run, should be some interesting homebrew apps appearing.
