Yes they are cute and cuddly but they will pee and crap on you without hesitation :)

Nice shot

Great shot, I would prefer a little more on the bottom to balance the amount of space open on top and bottom.

Yesterday, I was at the San Francisco Zoo, and the koala bear there was sleeping in the exact same position. Unfortunately for me, it was facing the other direction, so all I could shoot was a big hunk of fur ball.

Cute.

Nice one. Not sure that'd be the most comfortable way to sleep but I guess if you're a koala :-) !

The Toledo Zoo had a pair on loan from San Diego. Unfortunately the cost of flying in Eucaliptus leaves from Florida finally caused them to be returned to San Diego. They also were almost always asleep which didn't make them the most exciting exhibit. I'm told they also smell bad but we couldn't get close enough to tell. But they are cute critters.

I believe it's the eucalyptus leaves that make them so placid. I think they are like constantly stoned but I could be wrong. I think I read that about them somewhere.

yup your basically right it takes a huge amount of energy for them to digest the leaves so their always so bloody knackered. Nice pic! :D
