POLL: "Any Windows users want to know how to use Paint for a Screen Capture?"
Yes! I'm anxious to learn so I can more effectively "bother" people with questions!

Hey All! This is aimed at Newbies who are Windows users with some kind of image processor (DPP, Lightroom, whatever) but either have no actual image editor or are clueless about how they may use a basic one such as Windows Paint to get and post a Screen Capture for when asking for help/advice here.

I'm asking in a poll to see if there is interest.

I'd also like to know from a moderator: for this tutorial, part of what I want to show is how one would upload one of these from your computer. I was going to do this using my own screen shots and I wanted to know if the two shot limit for uploaded photos is "hard and fast" or would I be allowed more in a post like that or should I just use my PBase host?

So, chime in, "vote" in the poll, and if there are a number of people interested, then I'll go ahead and take the time to do it!

For this type of threads we can make an exception to the max attachments rule.

And thanks for offering to do this. When done we can add links to the thread about where to host and how to upload and vice verse.

Cool! We'll see if there's some interest and I'll start looking forward to the work! It's funny because I've rarely even looked at Paint but recently there have been some needs for screen captures using my laptop (no Photoshop) and also I needed to help someone on this very thing so I "forced" myself to get to know the thing at least for this:)!

Well, despite the underwhelming crowd of one who voted in the poll, I decided to go ahead and do the work and then put out the tutorial.

In case you haven't noticed it, here it is:

Mods, feel free to close this thread! and, if there was a way of combining the individual two-image posts, be my guests!
