It was very cold - minus 25C before the wind chill, and I went through 3 batteries (that I had fully charged before I went out.) At the end my tripod was frozen, my remote froze, and my focus ring didn't want to work. But I got some good shots, and today my 50D is none the worse for wear....

Camera seems fine - I have to do some more testing of the focus on the 80-400. But so far it seems fine, too... ::whew::
