What do you think and feel? Feel free to edit if words can't do the job.
Don't feel sorry for him either haha, he's fine. It's not as bad as it looks.

Great for an Anti Bullying campaign. those seem to be big right now. Is this make up or did you rough them up for real.

My first (and pretty much only) thought was: "Stupid is as stupid does."

I honestly couldn't tell he was beat up until I read the posts. The B&W makes it difficult to see. Maybe I'm just slow, though.

Remember we're not critiqueing him as a person :)

It's much more obvious at larger sizes, I can see how it could look like that at 640xXXX or what ever I resized it too. But after that have any comments?

Thanks for the suggestion lecherro, appreciate it. I'm not a fan of selective colour though.

Cool shot but I'm not a fan of the crop through the eye. What happened to your buddy?

Yeah, I have other crops including more traditional ones. I guess I just liked this one most, even while shooting the other crops I knew they were just safe shots incase I actually didn't end up liking this one. Just a night out, young people being young ect. I did exagerate it a little by using a couple channel mixer adjustment layers and masking different areas.

Okay well just elaborate because I'm not quite sure what you mean :)

I think that photos like this are probably always going to make people feel a little uneasy, other peoples of stuff like this do it to me too. I guess it's supposed to just be real, another youth culture project photo of mine.

Your reply illustrates my meaning ... even if you profess not to understand it.

But remember your request in the OP.

They posted exactly as you asked.

Roughed-up, dazed and confused was my first impression.
