Searching wasnt particularly helpful on this topic.
Looking to pick up a second flash to go with my 430EX II. Optical slave optional. Main purpose would be for portraits, but it would also get a lot of use for macros and some high speed photography. I was really interested in the Vivitar 285, but its minimum power is 1/16, which I believe would generate far too long of a pulse to use for anything high speed. If possible, I would like something with similar power to the Vivitar 285/Canon 430EX II

TL;DR: Im looking for something $100 or less that has a minimum power setting of 1/32 or lower.

Look at the Yongnuo brand of flashes on eBay.

YN460 would be cheapest, bare bones, with an optical slave.
YN460-II costs a little bit more, but it is a stop stronger, with an optical slave.
YN560 is up at your spending limit, but has the most features, such as manual zoom, also has an optical slave.

Sweet, thanks! Didnt know about the 560, just looked at it and should be perfect. Have you had any quality problems with your YN flashes? If so, how was dealing with the company to fix/replace the flashes?
