...just a few shots I took at the qualifying of a couple of local tennis tournaments at the Renouf tennis centre last month. Comments welcome.

...cheers RGT168. I'm a photographer on a budget: so I'm slightly embarrassed to say that these photos were taken with a Canon Kiss XS and the 55-250 kit lens. Shots were either taken in manual or TV: ISO 100-400 depending on light, Shutter speed between 1/500 and 1/1000, aperture between 5.0 and 7.1, centre point focus. Photos were cropped.

Yellowbond, some of those angles weren't by choice! As you probably know, access to the back courts at the Renouf tennis centre isn't the best: so some of these shots were taken peering over a fence, or from the walkway that goes around the centre.

Hey bear....yeah me too! I was using the 55-250 on a T2i indoors and they did not work out as well for me. I use that for outdoor tennis and it's fine if I am sitting mid court. I am still learning the settings and have been using the manual mode more. Lucky for me I am just shooting my friends and the Univ. of San Francisco team and they don't mind me sitting on the court. I try to learn from all of you more experienced guys here on the forums. Thanks for the info!
