Since selling all my equipment in preparation for my cross country move, I've just been messing around with old images and working on composites and what not.
Keeps me sane till I get some stuff back.

Here are some before/after's of a recent engagement session
Both were test shots, but I loved the way they turned out, so I had to save them.

Really like what you did with these.

Saw this old car while driving around town and had to stop to take a picture.

This one took quite a bit of time, but i'm pretty happy with the results.

Still looks quite underexposed. I'd brighten it up just a tad so it's not so dark.

Im not the greatest at this either but here is my take. It looks under exposed to me too. The area I circled in red is her white shirt. You can tell this because it is the brightest part of the image that takes up the most space. Its a bit too far to the left to be a properly exposed white. The area circled in blue is the almost blown highlights on the leaf in the back and on the left on the bench. Youll blow those areas more but if you shot raw, its easy though to lower their exposure in lightroom or photoshop. Anyway, perhaps a half stop more?

Im just now fairly confident in reading histograms and, in my opinion, I love it when people wear white! Makes it easier to me.

Alright! Thanks so much. On the back of my camera, I always use my histogram for exposure reference. I must have just missed this one.

It is a bit better. If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to try my hand at editing it.
