It was working the other day. They'll fire via the test button and the PII activates when the test is pressed on the on camera PII. I've tried different cables on each pack. My village called. I was told that they missed me.

But it does require a bit more juice to power the electronic switch that triggers the strobe. So I can see how low batteries can affect the triggering but not the reception of the trigger signal. ...Leo
