I'm using the 580ex II and the 430ex II with no problems, with the locking mechanism on the flash I've never had any connection problems with the RX. I'm wondering if there are connection problems with third party flash units. My flashes are the YN460-II's and the Quantaray QDC 900WA. Flickr

I know the flashes are working, I've used them either connected or with an optical slave since then. The receiver was also not working when used as a trigger to the camera. when you had the flash triggers working the first time, which flash did you use them with, the 270ex or the vivitar ? I'm trying to establish if the problem was with the Vivitar flash? 1Dx, 1DM4, 5DM2, 7D, EOS-M, 8-15L, 17-40L, 24 TSE II, 24-105L, 50L, 85L II, 100L, 135L, 200L f/2.8, 300L f/4, 70-200L II, 70-300L, 400Lf/5.6

I ordered the same, a new one on linkdelight. 3 weeks after I was happy to received the package, but it was not working at all I tried all possibilities I did a video where i show the problem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ji8LzaraMqs Then I send the set back to china. They send me a new set this week and... It's still not working !! Are you using fresh new batteries, I notice these triggers run down the batteries even when they are turned off. Also the batteries that come with the triggers are junk. 1Dx, 1DM4, 5DM2, 7D, EOS-M, 8-15L, 17-40L, 24 TSE II, 24-105L, 50L, 85L II, 100L, 135L, 200L f/2.8, 300L f/4, 70-200L II, 70-300L, 400Lf/5.6
