Well, I had about an hour to try out my new equipment.... This is the best that came out. I realize I have a bit to go. Any C&C is appreciated.

Car looks a little blown out. I like the pics overall though.

Love the 135i. As stated, whites are blown out a bit but definitely a nice first outing with the 7D!

Im jealous of the car, the 7D, and the location (Im currently in Ohio).

I think it makes the most sense to have the 35i motor in the 1 series (for someone with no kids). I mean, they put this motor in the X5! The power to weight ratio of this car is great!

And as a big fan of most things CF, I love the diffuser!

And is that rust on the caliper (from sitting for a while after being wet)? or just some kind of lighting issue?

nice car.

im a noob to this also and was wondering how does he fix the blown out pic, is that a tool in photoshop that he can use?

and could he have fixed this issue by using a faster shutter speed or by having a bigger fstop or lower iso?

Changing the White Balance, shutter speed, lighting, lower F-stop (higher number), or can be fixed in Post-processing like Photoshop or Lightroom.

no not rust, just the lighting from that parking lot. it was a very yellow/orange lighting.
