Just a test shot I did with a friend.
Color is desaturated on purpose. Not sure how it looks on my uncalibrated monitor.

I selected the dark spot and used some tones and shadow/highlights in photoshop.

Slaterza Goldmember 2,007 posts Likes: 7 Joined Nov 2007 Location: Beijing, China More info | Dec 23, 2010 04:08 | #7 In photoshop if this is a raw image take it into camera raw and reduce the blacks a little or in photoshop you can create another layer above and set the blend mode to screen fill with 50% gray and then with a low opacity brush paint with white in the areas that you want to lighten this works like the dodge tool but gives you a little more flexibility give it a try.
